Mechanical Engineer Intern

  • Analyzed and Modeled in PIPESTRESS the Reactor Coolant Piping System (Waterford Unit 3) for replacement steam generators.  A $511 million dollar project.
  • Conferred with engineers and other personnel to create analysis procedures in accordance to the ASME code to reduce piping analysis time by 40%.
  • Designed and analyzed extenders for a rotary table used for machining the outlet nozzles on the Shin Kori core support barrel units.  Worked alongside and met with manufacture engineers.  Created a technical document of the analysis and accepted proposed design.
