A little Background on Eben Pagan.  He is one of the the few in the internet marketing industry how actually made his money selling non-How to Make Money Stuff first.

Who Is He? He is an information marketer/entrepreneur famous for starting and owning Double Your Dating.com.  I believe I heard him say that it does around 25 million dollar a year business that employ around 50 people and is 100% virtual.

Eben is one of my mentors and I have learned an absolute ton from him I do not even know where to begin.  So Ill start with a first things I learned from him a little over a year ago

1.Speed Of Implementation

A Research done by college about success showed that the one key factor for success was success was the Speed of Implementation.  Which is the time between when you learn something and you put it into action.  All successful people implement quickly.  This Idea alone is the reason why I have this blog.  I have adopted this as one of my own philosophies I can already see that it is making a difference.  The minute I heard that you should have a personal blog that day I registered this domain name and began setting up this blog.   Now I am not saying that I am perfect at this but I have noticed that being conscious of this has helped me so far.

2.The Road to Success is Not Obvious its Counter Intuitive

Eben Pagan makes the analogy that business is very similar to Carnival Games meaning that you can win once you know the trick which is not obvious.

This is the way most people think: How do I figure out how to get 1,000,000 people  to give me 1 dollar?  I know I have, you sit there scheming.  If I invent this then I can get all these people to give me MONEY and then I will Have One Million Dollars

The New Mindset: How Do I give 1,000 dollars of value away for free to 1 million people and ask 10 dollars in return.

Counter Intuitive to give first, Eben says this alone is responsible for his success.
